About the Role

KrisShop is the omnichannel retail arm of the Singapore Airlines group, where it serves primarily as a redemption platform for KrisFlyer members to earn and burn KrisFlyer miles via a thoughtfully curated selection of products and services.

As Assistant Manager, eCommerce (Australia), you will work closely with the Head, eCommerce (Regional) to develop and operationalize digital marketing campaigns, as well as manage onsite/User Interface matters for the KrisShop Australia platform, to assist the Business Development and Account Management team in driving sales for the Australian market.

As this role will focus primarily on the Australian market, working knowledge of the Australian eCommerce market and consumer consumption habits, demographics and trends is a must. You must also have a strong grasp of eCommerce marketing principles and hands-on experience with using eCommerce systems such as Adobe Commerce/Magento to create and manage onsite campaigns for KrisShop Australia. This role will also be in charge of all onsite/UI matters for KrisShop Australia, to create a seamless and enjoyable redemption/shopping experience for Australian KrisFlyer members.


Responsibilities

· Own day-to-day operations of the Australia ecommerce platform, including content management, site categorization, onsite marketing, promotions and merchandising.

· Work with the Business Units to drive e-commerce sales.

· Based on local consumer behaviour and trends, devise and execute digital marketing campaigns for the KrisShop Australia platform to drive consumer interest and sales, to drive awareness and conversions for new/existing brands, products and vendor-led promotions

· Manage the KrisShop Australia site from a content management, promotions management and UI perspective, including back-end eCommerce cart-rules

· Maintain good understanding of the onsite user journey, incorporating both front-end and personalized platforms needed to optimize use experience.

· Complement digital marketing campaigns with personalization and initiatives to deliver relevant content and product placement.

· Manage e-commerce reporting, including campaign performance, product performance, user behavior, and content. Leverage available analytics and tools to understand user trends and growth opportunities and make content improvements and product recommendations based on these insights.

· Other ad-hoc e-commerce operations duties as required


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in an eCommerce marketing and campaigns role, with demonstrated knowledge of the Australian eCommerce market
  • Good knowledge of digital marketing, eCommerce and website management tools or platforms (e.g. Adobe Commerce/Magento, Google Analytics etc)
  • Strong communication & copywriting skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications (especially Microsoft Excel)
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Good interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
