Option to Extend: 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026.
Monday to Thursday: 1:00pm to 6:00pm
Friday and School Holidays: 8:00am to 1:00pm
Responsibilities:
During the Term:
- Assist teachers in maintaining classroom discipline, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
- Supervise and manage students in detention classes during afternoons, Monday to Friday.
- Collaborate with the Discipline Master (DM) and Operations Manager (OM) in managing disciplinary cases effectively.
- Monitor student behavior and movement during internal and National exams.
- Provide support by detaining or counseling students until a disciplinary member is available.
- Conduct patrols of the school premises before, during, and after class periods, ensuring safety and order.
- Patrol nearby shops and shopping centers to address student misbehavior after school hours or during holidays.
- Maintain discipline during school events such as Speech Day, CCA orientation, and Police or CNB talks.
- Analyze discipline data to identify students at risk and facilitate early intervention.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as fault reporting and asset management on non-discipline duty days.
- Perform any other administrative or operational duties assigned by school management.
During School Holidays:
- Support the maintenance of student discipline during school functions and activities.
- Assist in managing students during term breaks and holidays, including special programs like Sec 3 Bridging Programme.
- Aid teachers in conducting home visits as required.
- Collaborate with DM and OM in handling disciplinary cases during holiday periods.
- Conduct patrols of the school premises and surrounding areas to ensure security.
- Assist in managing students during the release of N and O Levels results and Sec 1 registration.
- Support administrative and operational tasks such as fault reporting and asset management.
- Fulfill any other administrative or operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a GCE 'O' Level Certificate or its equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in handling teenagers in a school context preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
