RESPONSIBILITIES
Manufacturing/ Production Line setup, pre-qualification and maintenance.
Provide technical support to customer related to assembly/ manufacturing.
Develop process and generate work instruction.
Review drawing, customer specifications and Bill of Materials cleanup.
Assembly, test, and commissioning of highly automated industrial equipments.
Train, certify and monitor assembly technicians.
Develop necessary technical competencies and equipment capabilities to meet operational performance targets
Work and collaborate with Production to achieve the desired quality and output
Conduct MRB to review non-conformance parts disposition.
Design/Fabricate tools, jigs and fixtures.
In-process yield/reject/scrap rate monitoring.
Lead and drive the team to participate in all continuous improvement projects related to cost, quality, utilisation & productivity using Six-sigma or similar applicable technology such as Cpk, FMEA, Lean etc
Any other duties assigned by his/her superior / Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum three years of relevant experience in Equipment Manufacturing Industry preferably wire bonding Equipment (Ball Bonding/Wedge Bonding/Die Bonding)
Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Proficiency in equipment troubleshooting techniques
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with good knowledge of SPC
Good leadership / presentation / communication / team building skills
Ability to work proactively and to identify issues and propose solutions
Able to design and implement effective systems, processes and informatio/ reporting mechanisms
Experience in Lean Manufacturing and ISO system
