Senior UDS Specialist Sales Manager

What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Sales Leader, UDS, you will be responsible for building strong customer relationships in the field and ensuring a great customer experience with existing and potential customers.


You will:

  • Sales Management
    - Develop an understanding of customers’ business and solution requirements.
    - Gain share of wallet/spend across Dell’s portfolio of technology solutions, with a particular focus on unstructured data storage.
    - Manage territory/accounts, including strategic account planning, MEDDPICC, sales forecasting, and cross-functional resource engagement.
    - Regularly engage with decision makers at client facilities.
    - Provide sales leadership and experience on large, complex sales opportunities.
  • Run-The-Business/Sales Initiatives
    - Engage with and support UDS APJC senior leadership and broader UDS APJC teams to ensure adoption of UDS DM best practices and key metrics.
    - Collaborate with UDS corporate/global solution teams, CoC, and PLM teams to develop and drive programs and initiatives for APJC, enabling regional teams to meet their targets and IOP priorities.
  • ISVs (Independent Software Vendors)
    - Engage with key global and APJC ISVs to develop, drive, and manage strategic ISV – UDS joint GTM (Go-To-Market) programs and activities. These efforts aim to increase UDS storage sales and pipeline across relevant industry verticals and horizontal segments.
  • Channels
    - Engage with APJC Channels / Channels Storage teams to develop and drive channel programs and activities. These initiatives aim to gain mindshare and build incremental UDS pipeline and sales. Strategies include leveraging POR (Partner of Record) accounts, focused UDS vertical and horizontal partners, enablements, EBCs (Executive Briefing Centers), workshops, and Smart Selection.

Essential Requirements

  • 10-15 years of experience selling technology solutions where you were recognized as a top performer
  • World-class customer management and strategic selling skills to enhance the success of our customers’ business and the growth of Dell
  • Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems
  • Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation and executive presentation skills and ability to provide insight and thought leadership to senior/CIO/CXO leadership and next two levels down

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience
