- Position :Project Engineer
- Location :Jurong Island
- Working hours : Monday -Friday, 9.00am-6.00pm
- Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4800 GROSS ( Basic + $250 site allowance) + 1 month completion bonus + 14 days annual leave + Medical reimbursement + Family Day
- Duration : 2 year contract - convertible or renewable

Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the Deputy Manager to manage, plan and oversee the clearing of defects at the Plant
- To manage various phases of projects from conceptual and feasibility studies, front-end engineering to project implementation phase comprising detailed engineering, manufacturing, construction, testing and commissioning to achieve the business targets on value engineering, cost optimization and within budget allocation, timely project completion with highest safety standards
- Carrying out defect clearing or project development activities including cost estimation, scheduling and risk assessment
- Preparing technical specification and tender documents and be involved in contract negotiation
- Conducting tender evaluation for the award of consultancy and EPC contracts
- Management of project(s), contract management
- Maintain good working relationships and coordination with relevant parties such as consultants, key equipment vendors, contractors for the development and implementation of new projects
- Set clear goals and targets which are aligned with the business unit’s goals
- Ensure that statutory standards, company policies and procedures are followed, particularly those standards, policies and procedures that relate to personal safety of team members and others
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering discipline (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Process/ Chemical/ Project Management)
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in view of business communications
