Work with Compliance colleagues in implementing, administering, and maintaining the compliance program;
Ensuring management and employees are in compliance with the applicable regulations and that policies and
procedures are being followed.
Manage, mentor and develop compliance staff in Singapore.
Manage relationships with regulators, clients and external adviserson compliance issues impacting the business.
Provide advice to employees on compliance and/or regulatory matters.
Develop new or updated policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements applicable to business unit.
Manage compliance monitoring activities and risk and compliance reviews of activities to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Oversight and assisting compliance teams;
Manage regulatory filings and responses to regulatory examinations on behalf of relevant business units.
Requirements:
5 years minimum of people management experience, experience in leading a mid-large size compliance team and experience in working in a multinational company
Ability to interpret the regulatory requirements, guidance, and developments and clearly communicate implications to a range of audiences
Master's degree in Law, or other relevant fields
Hands on experience in implementing compliance programs to address key regulatory risks
Strong analytical skills and experience in reporting
Self motivated, dependable, adaptable
Able to work both independently and within a team environment
