Job Descriptions
The kitchen helper is responsible for maintaining all kitchen equipment and ensuring it is in working order as directed by the chef. They must also execute the Safety and Standard Operating Procedures required by the company, including compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements. Additionally, the kitchen helper must efficiently and effectively manage all restaurant-related inventory and ensure that overall kitchen cleanliness is maintained to the high standards set by management.
Job Responsibilities:
· Assist the head chef with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and marinating.
· Help in cooking simple dishes under the guidance of the head chef.
· Ensure that all kitchen tools and equipment are cleaned and stored properly after use.
· Conduct kitchen inventory checks and report any shortages to management.
· Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring it meets health and safety regulations.
· Perform any additional tasks as required by the head chef and management.
Job Requirements
· Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not required.
· Must be able to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, is essential.
· Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and health and safety regulations is needed.
· A strong passion for food and the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
Working hour:
· 6days(Monday to Saturday), 10hrs per day (630am-430pm).
