RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support C4SR's mission to provide a transformative learning experience through community service and cultivate active citizenship in our students though service and community engagement platforms:
    • Mentor and guide student leaders of ongoing local and overseas projects to provide more impactful and sustainable service to the community through service learning principles and tools such as needs analysis and asset mapping.
    • Curate new projects to address unmet community needs (local and overseas) and build capacity of communities, in collaboration with non-profit/community partners and student teams for sustainable impact.
    • Facilitate and help students to recognize and articulate their learning through the community service experience.
    • Guide student leaders to partner donors and non-profit partners to curate more sustainability-related projects.
  • Review and re-design of current projects:
    • Enhance student projects so as to allow students to meet their community service graduation requirement through the fulfilment of 1 project.
    • Collaborate with partner organizations to re-design projects so as to facilitate more effective student learning and create a more sustainable service impact for the beneficiary communities.
    • Guide student leaders to align their project scope to the identified UN SDGs for community service.
  • Enhance visibility of the community service initiatives and good work of our students:
    • Collaborate with internal corporate communications team, and external agencies to increase publicity and awareness of the various student initiatives.
    • Coordinate the production of essential collaterals including videos and print materials.
  • Donor engagement and management of donor funds:
    • Collaborate with Office of Advancement to curate new projects and platforms to engage donors and tap on resources such as funds, professional expertise and networks so as to support students' in addressing community needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree holder with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience in Student Development, Service-Learning, and Community Engagement is essential.
  • Possess skills and experience in Service-Learning specialist domain areas and best practices in community engagement.
  • Passionate about educating youths facilitation skills and knowledge of assessment of learning outcomes a key advantge.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management, good administration and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Good team player and having strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to guide, influence and be assertive whenever necessary.
  • Self-driven, meticulous, resourceful, and adaptable to changes.
  • Flexible with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong network with community service sector will be an advantage.
  • Able to work outside regular office hours occasionally .
