Job Description & Requirements
- Investigate and respond to an emergency or abnormal situations as appropriate (gas and chemical leaks, spills, fires,s, etc).
- Assist in evacuation, first aid & rescue and mitigation operations, and decontamination of personnel and equipment.
- Tend to the injured or incapacitated personnel by applying the basic principles of first aid.
- Plan and conduct Emergency Response training and activities including evacuation drills, fire/ gas, and chemical leak drills, CERT audits, etc.
- Track and monitor CCTV & satellite phone functionality, reporting, and escalating abnormalities.
- Tracking Gas Monitoring System (GMS) and fire protection system to ensure function as intended all the time.
- Perform and update any ESH abnormality Reporting (e-system) on time
- Periodically checks emergency response equipment/items and replenishes and replaces (if any).
- Monitor, maintain and execute work safety including 6S and permit to work.
- Assist in any other related duties assigned by immediate supervisor as and when necessary
Requirements:
- The advanced certificate in workplace safety & health ( Level B)
- Occupational first aider cert
- CERT Training - WSQ Respond to Fire & HazMat Emergency in Industries
- Expert knowledge of Emergency Response training,
- monitoring of the CCTV and HAZMAT training.
- Fire Prevention and Fighting, Accident Investigation and Inspections, Safety Training, Health, Safety, and Environment in various industries such as construction & Oil and Gas
