Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Support the Finance Manager in the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Compile and analyze financial data to assist in the development of budgets and financial plans.
- Monitor budget performance and variance analysis to identify areas for improvement.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and presentations for management as needed.
- Analyze key financial metrics and trends to provide insights and recommendations.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor cash flow projections and manage cash balances to ensure liquidity.
- Review and approve payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
Compliance and Regulatory Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial regulations.
- Assist in preparing tax returns and other statutory filings.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations affecting the organization.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Accountancy / Finance / ACCA or equivalent
- At least 4 years of relevant experience
- Good analytical skills and able to work independently or as a team player
- Able to handle tight deadline
- Able to start work immediately or within short notice is a plus
