Be part of a leading Chemical MNC and join them as a Supply Planner.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain and analyse inputs from across the department to build a demand plan that will drive operational activity.
- Develop requirement plans for external manufacturer to ensure the plant is operating in line with company’s planned requirements.
- Manage the import and/or export of components or products to support the demand plan activities in other regions.
- Manage inventory levels within target ranges for key materials and key locations to ensure adequate material to maintain supply without increasing working capital costs to an unacceptable level.
- Have a good understanding of short term & medium-term capacity availability and constraints.
- Respond to changes and update the demand plan and material movement requirements, and highlight likely impact of these changes to the business team.
- Participate in regional S&OP meetings and provide reports on plans, inventory/capacity outlook, actions associated with product transitions and new product introductions.
- Work with planners in other regions to ensure coordination of material requirements and shared global resources (such as plant capacity) and develop best practice procedures.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor of Science in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration
- Possess SAP knowledge in materials managements and supply planning typically with over 5 or more years of experience
- Knowledge of production scheduling, supply chain structures & procedures, global supply network interactions and inventory management
- Strong analytical skills
