Responsibilities
- Design and install fire protection and security systems tailored to project specifications and local safety regulations.
- Ensure systems are integrated seamlessly with other construction elements.
- Perform regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot any issues with fire alarms, sprinkler systems, CCTV, access controls, and other security hardware.
- Ensure all systems meet local and national fire safety and security regulations.
- Prepare and maintain documentation and reports to demonstrate compliance.
- Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering staff to integrate fire and security systems into overall project designs.
- Attend project meetings and provide expert advice on fire safety and security matters.
- Train and supervise junior engineers and technicians on proper installation techniques and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Facilities Management / Construction or equivalent
- At least 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in the civil constructions industries
- Candidate who is FSM certified is highly advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Office
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to start work immediately or within short notice
