Job Description
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Supervise and assign daily tasks to a team of technicians to carry out the daily operations.
- Implement and follow-up on the preventive maintenance programs for Resort equipment and building. This includes HVAC, kitchen, guest rooms, back-of-house, restaurants, kitchen etc.
- Prioritise work tasks raised by various departments and ensure all maintenance work is completed.
- Follow-up on all contractual and non-contractual preventive and corrective maintenance work.
- Respond to guest complaints.
- Troubleshoot errors and rectify equipment problems.
- Execute tasks assigned by Assistant Chief Engineer and Chief Engineer from time to time.
- Attend to all out-of-order rooms as reported by Front Office or from the FCS.
- Conduct On-the-Job Training (OJT) for Technicians.
Others
- Prepare weekly MPSS roster.
- Perform ad hoc projects or duties as assigned by the Assistant Chief Engineer or Chief Engineer.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Well trained in electrical and mechanical engineering.
- Knowledge in water pump system.
- Knowledge in troubleshooting for phone line, IT data line and minor air con problem.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Able to work on shifts, weekends and Public Holidays.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum a Higher NITEC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, air con maintenance.
