Our client is a SGX listed group. Its global HQ is in Singapore and the office is based in town. The co’s business is mainly in real estate and healthcare across the region.
For this IA manager, you report to the Head of IA and your job scope would include the following points:
- Plan and execute financial, regulatory, compliance, and operational audit assignments
- Reporting on control deficiencies to Management and contribute feasible solutions to mitigate risk and value-add
- Enhance the Group’s risk management, financial and operational processes and procedures
- Prepare internal audit plans and reports for circulation to Management
- Communicating with a variety of stakeholders across the Group
- Assist in any ad-hoc projects or special investigations
Requirements:
- Recognized relevant degree or ACCA
- Around 7 years of relevant experience in internal auditing (IA), some of which is gained in a multi-national corporate environment
- Experience in the real estate and healthcare sector is highly preferred
- Exposure to audits of SGX listed companies is an added advantage but not a must
- Experience with audit data analytical tools is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Takes initiative and possess strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
- Effectively bilingual in both English and Mandarin is required. The Mandarin proficiency is required so that this person can communicate with Mandarin speaking entities in China.
