Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and researchers.
- Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables
- Manage and hire staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training new employees.
- Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, and scheduling expenditures.
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
- Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of project management experience in banking industry
- Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
- Proven success working with all levels of management and proficiency in managing cross-functional teams
- Result-orientated mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2
- Experience in developing platforms for internal processes
- Experience in coaching project team members to strengthen their abilities and skill sets
- Experience in Java, SpringBoot, Angular/ReactJS, MongoDB, MySQL, Linux, etc will be added advantage
