Job Description:
1) Responsible for managing the collection of outstanding debts through phone calls or email, and other appropriate actions
2) Negotiate payment plans with debtors, advise them on the payment options and methods to ensure successful collection of debts
3) Generate necessary letters (includes payment reminders and final notice warnings) to debtors when payments are not being made
4) In charge of end-to-end repossession process such as liaising with appointed repossession companies, issuing Repossession Order, and assets disposal
5) Liaise with appointed law firms for various matters such as issuing various letters, conducting various searches on debtors and guarantors, and any ad-hoc matters
6) Liaise with appointed debt collection companies and arrange for on-site visitation
7) Manage Debt Repayment Scheme to ensure on time repayment from debtors
8) Ensure proper filings, safe keeping of loan related documents and arrange archival
9) Potentially attend hearings, acts as a runner to LTA, or police stations for case filing and so on
10) Handle and manage any complaints from debtors or dealers professionally and remain courteous at all times
11) Responsible for escalating and reporting any suspicious / problem accounts to superior at the earliest instance
12) Ensure compliance to company policies, financial, process and industrial standards
13) Performs ad hoc duties as assigned by Supervisors Job
Requirement:
1) Academic qualification: Diploma & equivalent
2) 1 or 2 years of working in handling credit documents, loan administration, KYC / AML, and collection
3) Competent in English (verbal & written) and Chinese (verbal)
4) High level of integrity, meticulous and detail-orientated
5) Strong ownership with ability to operate in a flexible, dynamic environment
6) Ability to multi-task, deliver results and solve problem well under pressure to meet deadlines
7) Open and willing to learn new things, take on new challenges and make adjustments to suit transitions in the workplace
