Responsibilities:
• Develop, design, and coordinate projects through interaction with others to assure desired outcomes are achieved in an effective, timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Coordinate the development of project plans and specifications and the solicitation of competitive cost quotations on same. lead URS / Tender document preparation, running of tender process.
• Provide support in the development and integration of the factory control system (Process & Packaging) in accordance with Corporate Conformance Standards and/or Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP) guidelines.
• Provide direction to designers/consultants to assure that complete Automation engineering plans will be in conformance with current engineering practices, standards, and codes.
• Contract Management - Manage contracts by identifying selected vendors, establish and development long-term working relation with them.
• Provide support in the manage and control in batch recipe management system.
• Provide support in the manage and control the manufacturing SAP system for operations control, traceability, and process automation in accordance with GMP/GAMP guidelines.
• Ensure that maintenance process is compliant from a Regulatory standpoint. This includes MOM (GMP's), EHS (OHSA, EPA, etc.)
• Administration of third-party service providers.
• Adhere to the Tuas Code of Conduct.
• Raise change control, track, and close deliverables.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
• Lead, IQ, OQ and commissioning site works together with vendor.
• Manage and be responsible for all technical documentation.
• Prepare and Lead the Project coordination meetings with internal and external parties for Automation.
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects tasks.
• Responsible for timely risk management related to projects.
• Support and participate in employee training sessions and cross-functional teams.
• Provide supervision and mentoring to technical assistants, interns, clerical support, and others, as appropriate.
• Collaborate with Corporate and other plants in technology transfer projects involving new, specialized, or improved equipment/procedures.
• Interact with other functional managers (Production, Finance, Manufacturing Services, Supply Chain, QA, and others) as necessary to assure efficient operations.
Requirements:
- Engineering Degree (Automation/E & A/Instrumentation)
- Min 3 years in Manufacturing Automation Environment (preferably in a food and pharma manufacturing plant)
- Knowledge in Allen Bradley RsLogix 5000, Siemens Simatic PLC programming.
- Knowledge in Wonderware System Platform and in batch development.
- Experience in working with service providers.
- Experience in Project Management knowledge specially in Brown field.
- Experience in different Contracts in SG/management, Local Legislations, and financial control.
- Technical knowledge of Process, Utilities systems and manufacturing food products. Understanding of regulatory compliance issues (e.g., EPA, GMP).
