International Cancer Specialists, Singapore's only family-owned Medical Oncology & Haematology practice, is looking for talent who desire to make a remarkable difference in the lives of cancer patients and their loved ones, from Singapore and beyond.


You can expect to play a key role in the first-line care of everyone who needs us, whether they may be a cancer patient undergoing treatment for the first time, or someone from overseas who needs an urgent second opinion, your work will impact their lives in a meaningful manner.


In addition, you can expect to manage critical operational matters like the efficient submission of medical claims to relieve the financial burdens of cancer patients, as well as ensuring the smooth operations of our cancer centre, together with our clinical and administrative team.

1. Clinic Assistant Objectives:


· Manage all general administrative duties and assist in the daily operations of the clinic(s) including patient escort, collection and/or delivery of medical reports, scheduling appointments for patients

· Respond to all email inquiries and incoming calls in a customer-centric manner

· Help with regular stock takes

· Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of each patient bill, check that there is no outstanding payment owed by each patient, prompt submission of claims etc. This includes tracking and collation of amount receivable from patients, hospitals, and insurances etc.

· Manage the daily submission of claims to the relevant claims portal. This includes Third Party Administrator Portal, Insurance Provider Portal, Mediclaim Portal etc.

· Manage end-of-day submission of payment invoices report. To work closely with Finance to ensure that all payments are accounted for. This includes patient refund (if any), rectification of any submission error etc.

· Manage administrative matters such as ordering of weekly lunch, maintaining office supplies, collecting letters from the letter box, providing resource support for organising events, arrangement and coordinating equipment delivery, and maintenance etc.

· Responsible for purchasing (including services) as assigned such as making and collecting of name cards, scheduled carpet cleaning etc.

· Ensure that the clinic(s) are always clean and orderly.

· Other administrative duties as assigned.


2. Requirements:


· Possess a Diploma or equivalent.

· At least 3 years of working experience, preferably in a customer-facing environment

· Have an eye for detail

· Proficient in MS Office or generally comfortable working with computers

· Good and responsible team player

· Able to work alternate 5.5 days work week
