Responsibility
· New ala carte menu planning and food promotions
· In charge of food cost, inventory and stock take
· Stringent control on food cost and expenditure
· Ensuring the quality level of food and presentation
· Responsible for planning and directing food presentation in kitchen
· Wastage control
· Supporting the vision of the food & beverage team as a whole,
responsible for both food and staff
· Demonstrating excellent product knowledge to all food in section
· Ensuring that all recipe at section are followed
· Ensuring the adherence of kitchen standards
· Establish smooth personal and work relation within section and team members
· Ensuring that all equipment in section is cleaned and procedure of sanitization and hygiene is followed
· Delegating tasks to kitchen helper and ensuring that the tasks are completed within the time frame
· Performing any additional, special duties, task or changes given by the Head, Food & Beverage.
Requirements
· At least 3 years experience in Chinese cuisine is a must
· Previous food service experiences definitely an asset.
· Formal or active study of post-secondary training in food and beverage management definitely a benefit.
· Excellent communication and a passion for customer service.
