Role Responsibilities:
1. Perform welding inspections and generate QA reports.
2. Perform NDT (especially Dye Penetrant Test) and generate QA reports.
3. Must be able to use all measuring equipment especially Trimos, Profile projector, Hexagonal Arm. Others such as Height gauge, Vernior caliper, micrometer, Torque wrench, thread gauges
4. Must be able to read, and interpret all drawing symbols and welding symbols
5. Able to perform FA, Incoming, In-process and Outgoing inspection to meet delivery schedule
6. Ensure all measuring equipment is calibrated.
7. Ensure Maintenance record and Production in-process record is updated on-time
8. Ensure the implementation of corrective actions/preventive action as a result of weekly Source inspection by customers.
9. Document Control - To ensure all drawings are latest and filed in a proper manner
10. Assists/performs other non-routine duties as assigned by QA Manager.
Requirements:
1. Must possess a minimum of a Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent AND a valid Welding Inspector Certificate (CSWIP)
2. Relevant experience in QA (especially ISO related – 9001, 14001, BizSafe- involved in supporting Internal and External Audit) is a plus
3. Experience in Machining, Metal stamping, fabrication and related secondary processes ( such as welding, plating, and powder coating) industry preferred.
4. Able to speak English and Mandarin.
5. Able to work 5.5 days and OT when needed
