Main Roles and Responsibilities
1. Undertake contact/teaching hours per week in Creative Computing and Coding
2. Design, prepare and develop documents such as lesson plans and assessment descriptors as well as teaching resources/materials
3. Plan and supervise a variety of activities such as projects, productions, collaborations, etc
4. Supervise and assess students’ assignments/works/projects
5. Prepare and maintain records relating to students’ progress, performance, and attendance
6. Contribute to the review of the assigned unit(s)/component(s)
7. Mentor and provide academic care and support, including career guidance to students
8. Keep up to date on the development of discipline related teaching practices and learning strategies
9. Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Requirements
1. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, or related discipline
2. Minimum 2 years of teaching and relevant working experience
3. Ability to teach online via MS Teams, Zoom, Canvas and/or other relevant applications is preferred
4. Positive, enthusiastic, and results-oriented with the ability to engage adult learners
5. Excellent command of written and spoken English
6. Excellent communication skills, problem-solving and analytical skills
7. A team player with good interpersonal skills
