In this position as a Product Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing of products, be involved in the implementation, pre and post launch product review and maintenance.
The ideal incumbent will be required to conduct competitive analysis against similar bancassurance products in the market and work closely with other businesses in the region for product idea, you will be expected to engage stakeholders through product proposition presentations and soliciting product feedback from Partnership distribution and work with pricing team and reinsurers to develop products that meet customer’s needs while achieving business objectives.
As a Product Development Specialist, you will also be involved in reviewing all the marketing collaterals such as brochures, product pack, website and conduct mandatory training for the launch.
skills & experience required
- 3+ years of life/health insurance experience, preferably in a product development or project management
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to understand complex life insurance product
- Ability to independently complete basic and moderately complex projects/studies
- Prior experience with sales tracking, illustration software, financial analysis, competitive analysis, distribution surveys preferred
- Good spoken and written communication as well as articulate interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a team effectively while managing tight timeline, and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
