What You'II Do:
- Attend to the queries and issues encountered by users of the applications managed by Geospatial Services Unit in GSS Section
- Perform system enhancements through application configuration changes and development in ArcGIS Pro, .Net and ArcGIS web APIs.
- Provide application demonstration, training and technical support and explore new technologies.
- Assist in problem resolution in ArcGIS Pro and web applications.
- Member of the project that will migrate the Gas network into Esri Utility Network for the SP PowerGrid’s Gas & Electricity Mapping System (GEMS). Provide advice on the best practices for mapping data management, review new workflows and participate on the creation of test cases and execution of SIT and UAT
What You'II Need:
- Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or its equivalent
- 5 years+ experience in development using ArcGIS Desktop and minimum 1 year experience in ArcGIS Pro.
- Experience in Utility Network and able to code in C# .Net to create add-ins.
- 5 Years + experience in ArcGIS JavaScript for web, Pro SDK, Trace Network and Utility Network and VB.Net based applications.
- Able to develop solutions to business requirements/problems and evaluate solutions provided by vendors.
- Effective communications skills and able to conceptualise, convey complex concepts in a manner easy to understand.
- Experienced in engaging cross functional business, IT stakeholders and vendors.
- willingness to learn new technologies quickly and adapting to new challenges.
- In-depth knowledge and working experience of ESRI (ArcGIS Desktop/Server/Mobile, ArcSDE, ArcObjects, etc.) and other GIS products.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft.NET with ESRI software, Microsoft SQL Server, PostGreSQL, web-based technology and Web Services/XML/SOAP.
