The Logistics Assistant reports to the Logistics Manager and work together for the planning, organizing, and directing; managing and execution of the supply chain/logistics operations in an organization. They also work with internal and external teams to ensure accurate shipping and delivery schedule for new and existing products. The successful candidate will cover logistic support for Japan, Korea, Taiwan Thailand, Malaysia, US, Europe and all countries that the company has business relationship with.
. Pick and pack
· Handle inbound, outbound and transhipment and prepares invoices, documents related to the entire cycle of logistics
· Manage inventory control; replenishing stock control in SG warehouses
· Liaise and coordinate with overseas vendors/customers, freight forwarders, carriers on delivery date and pick-ups
· Monitor and follow-up with suppliers/customers to ensure on-time and accurate shipping document submission
· Propose cost-effective and efficient solutions
· Serves customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems
Typical profile
· 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
· Ability to work under pressure and to motivate and achieve a good working relationship with personnel at all levels
· Good advanced skills in MS Excel applications and logistics software
· Possess good interpersonal communication skills
· Have experience handling the external vendors/partners
