Job Responsibitities:
- Assist in the development, maintaining and publishing of Group IT policies, standards and guidelines
- Responsible for all aspect of the company’s IT and systems including hardware, software, network, security and communication
- 99.9% uptime availability through robust resilient architecture and planned maintenance
- Optimal asset management which include servers, switches/routers. PCs/Laptops, smartphones (Inventoried, maintained in good working condition and not obsolete)
- Network bandwidth monitored to ensure that bandwidth adequately supports business requirements (messaging, voice, video, ERP, SF.com, Danos, etc.)
- Data on servers and PCs are backed up on a timely basis, recovery within reasonable time to meet business requirement
- Planned database and system administration
- Update and patches (security, software, OS etc.) tested and installed timely
- Security from current known threats for all LAN/internet networks and all hardware attached to the network
- Licensing is adequate, monitored and compliant - Responsible for coordinating the evaluation, deployment and management of current and future IT systems across the organization
- Responsible for the implementation and control of the projects that relate to the selection acquisition, development, installation of major IT including hardware, software maintenance contract.
- Categorize, plan and prioritize report/enhancement for software/application requested, evaluate them by ROI and address them in a timely manner
- Ensure IT systems and operations comply to application laws and regulations
- Ensure that Group has a robust disaster recovery and business continuity plan; manage IT incidents to minimize business impact and protect company assets and reputation. During such incident, provide regular communications including updates/reminders so that users are well informed and business disruption is managed
- Support and guide regional IT infrastructure teams
- Develop, coordinate and manage annual IT capex and opex budget
- Provide training for new IT as well as retraining to address/improve user environment
- Develop integration and mobility solutions based on users requirements
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of relevant managerial experience
- Working experience as an IT consultant
- Substantial exposure to data processing, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications and outsourced systems
- Experience in different ERP system including SAP is needed
- Experience implementing new systems, including SAP and associated infrastructure
- Experience in running and managing regional IT support including SAP
- Knowledge of business processes and relevant software project management
- Knowledge and experience in reporting tools such as BPC would be an added advantage
