Job Summary
- Provide Centre-based Nursing and nursing care at St Andrew’s Senior Care
Centre-Based Nursing
- Assist Staff Nurse to Implement nursing interventions as outlined in the care plan and carry out nursing procedures according to the care needs of the client.
- Nursing Care in the centre
- Provide nursing assessment for new clients and regular review of assessment
- Co-ordinate with other team members and updating them of the changes in the client’s condition and needs
- Prepare clinical documentation, monitor outcomes of services and perform escalation of cases if there is need for more acute management of clients
- Assist Staff Nurse to provide ongoing support and education to the caregiver, client and family
- Assist Staff Nurse to provide supervision to Nursing aides and Healthcare assistant when they are performing nursing care duties
- Facilitate activities that contribute towards the improvement of the quality of client care and support care integration
- To be conversant with all emergency procedures.
- To assist Staff Nurse to conduct clinical audits and feedback to the management.
- To liaise effectively with other departments and services, such as the clinics and hospital wards
- To assist Staff Nurse in inventory check and control
- Carry out other responsibilities and duties as assigned from time to time
Qualification
- Registered Enrolled Nurse with SNB
Special Aptitude And Knowledge
- Good knowledge of the health care environment and service processes. Experience in community care provision is an added advantage.
- Highly motivated and able to maintain good interpersonal relationships, in collaboration with various partners in the healthcare system.
Working Hours
- Monday - Friday (42.5 hours per week / 8.5 hours per day)
Experience
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in clinical area such as acute or community hospital.
