Temporary Employment Register
The Australian High Commission, Singapore maintains a Temporary Employment Register, which is used to fill short-term vacancies. The Temporary Employment Register (TER) is open to candidates to submit an expression of interest for temporary, non-ongoing employment at the Australian High Commission (AHC). The TER enables us to temporarily employ appropriately highly skilled, motivated and experienced individuals at short notice for short - term (fixed term) contracts (up to 6 months).
Temporary employment opportunities arise from time to time for a number of different reasons including:
- When permanent staff members in extended leave
- During the period prior to filling a vacancy; or
- To manage specific short term projects
NOTE FOR ALL CANDIDATES
- The process involves but not limited to the declarations of the code of conduct, code of secrecy, etc.
- Only candidates being shortlisted considered for a position will be contacted
- Placement on the temporary employment register does not guarantee an offer of employment
