THE ROLE
This individual will assist the QC Manager, QC Supervisor, Microbiologist and Senior Chemist to manage Quality Checks for Quality Checks for All Raw materials and finished goods, Microbiological testing/Packaging material checking and Packaging raw material checking as well as maintaining all Quality documentation
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- The incumbent works closely with the QC Manager on all aspects of Quality Control, in particular, on product reliability and compliance with all established product standards. Ensures that all aspects of quality within the organization are upheld.
- Supervise and perform tests on various chemical and microbiological activities on a regular basis.
- Supervise all lab resources to ensure that they are utilized in a manner consistent with lab goals and priorities.
- Inspects all incoming raw material, packaging raw material, and packaging material checking for compliance according to current standards.
- Conducts stability study routine testing, microbiological testing/ environmental monitoring according to SOPs.
- Work with various departments on the maintenance of company quality manuals pertaining to operating procedures.
- Assist QC manager with SOP and document updating, GMP audits, validation, qualification, and change control.
- Assist QA with failure analyses, and corrective and preventive action responses to customer’s complaints.
- Assist in maintaining Product Quality and Technical Files.
- Ensure that all equipment and instrumentation in the Micro Lab are in good working order and that all relevant certifications and records are kept up-to-date.
- Prepares reports to effectively communicate and present departmental performance.
- Ensure the general maintenance of the QC Chemical Lab, Micro Lab, and common areas of the lab, including cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of the area in compliance with quality control standards and safety guidelines.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma in Chemical Process Technology, Pharm, Biotechnology
- Degree in Chemistry, Quality Assurance.
