An Executive Engineer holds a key leadership position within the company. This role is multifaceted and requires a combination of technical expertise and strategic thinking.
JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)
Oversees all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. Be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
Project Management
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and budgeting efforts.
- Monitor project progress and performance to ensure adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high construction standards.
- Address any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.
Client Relations Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing excellent service and addressing client concerns.
- Communicate project updates, milestones, and deliverables to clients in a clear and timely manner.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Implement safety protocols and procedures to protect the health and well-being of workers and site visitors.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Address any safety concerns or violations promptly and effectively.
REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification would be added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities, with a focus on problem-solving and conflict resolution.
