RESPONSIBILITIES
To create compelling content that will be able to engage audiences on Mediacorp's social media accounts.
Responsibilities
- To edit captivating video content for social media engagement and to create highly shareable content.
- Work with internal teams to brainstorm fresh and creative video ideas.
- Maximise existing content and help develop social media presence through the creation of video-driven strategies and digital media content.
- Oversee content production where necessary, including simple filming with mobile device where required.
- Adhere to video adaptation best practices for social media platforms.
- Degree, Specialist Diploma Media & Communication, Mass Communication, Communication & New Media, Film & Media Study, Film & Video Production and Audiovisual Communications.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in video editing, preferably for social media.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software, in particular Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Strong time management and project management skills.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Keen interest in local media content.
- Creative with a good eye for design and attention to detail.
- Avid user of all trending social media channels (including Tik Tok).
- Familiar with Gen Z lifestyle.
- Able to work well under pressure and occasional tight timelines.
- Good sense of content that will work well on social platforms.
- Knowledgeable about industry standards for social media video formats and sizes.
