Responsibilities:
- Hires, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all Sales Consultants and takes corrective measures as and when required
- Provide product and sales training to the Sales Consultants to ensure the efficiency and proficiency of the Sales Team
- Manages staff training to enhance the development and control of sales programmes
- Monitors Sales Consultants’ productivity and performance
- Establishes annual and monthly objectives for unit sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profit
- Monitor the inventory for new and pre-owned vehicles
- Displays, merchandises, and promotes new and pre-owned vehicles
- Reviews and analyses the market and sales reports to determine customer needs and volume potential, and develops sales campaigns to meet the goals of the department
- Achieve volume and financial targets for the department
- Serves as liaison between the sales department and other departments
- Analyses and controls expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements
- Schedule and plan new owner clinics or programmes as a follow-up to the delivery process
- Assist in the marketing and CRM activities and digital media platform
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
- Maintains a professional appearance
- Attends managers' meetings as requested
- Other tasks as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma with 3-6 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills
- Experience in customer service, and execution strategies; in a multifunctional retail network including training, product planning, and pricing
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, prepare, and implement complex strategic projects and departmental tactics, to achieve business goals
- Demonstrated ability to identify, prepare, and deliver tools and training curriculum on multiple retail/business disciplines to large diverse groups may be required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Possess a valid class 3 driving license
- Proficiency in MS Office
- NOTE: The remuneration package offered is highly based on sales performance (attractive sales commission)
- The successful candidate may expect to achieve an annual income greater than $100,000.00 (Basic Salary+Sales Commissions+Incentives).
