Responsibilities:
- Plan, oversee, and manage health, safety, and environmental aspects of the project.
- Provide support to the Safety Manager in ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and aerodrome safety standards.
- Supervise on-site health, safety, and environmental control.
- Ensure adherence to procedures for excavation, confined space operations, and work at height.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, authorities, agencies, and other consultants.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safe working procedures on-site.
- Perform daily health, safety, and environmental inspections.
- Prepare reports and collaborate on issue resolution.
- Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents.
- Document findings on relevant forms.
- Implement safety protocols for work at height activities.
- Identify areas requiring training/certification for legislative compliance.
- Ensure workers utilize appropriate safety gear.
- Enforce safety requirements and procedures.
- Fulfil the duties of an Environmental Control Officer in Construction Projects.
- Maintain proper documentation of all EHS records, certificates, notices, and official EHS-related correspondence.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure ECM and environmental plans are in place.
- Liaise with relevant authorities such as MOM, NEA, PUB, etc.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in construction.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Airside Aerodrome safety.
- Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health Level C.
- Registered as an Environmental Control Officer with NEA.
- Certified Safety Coordinator/ADWSH (Level-B).
- Certified Confined Space Safety Assessor Certificate.
- Certified in Managing Work At Height Course.
- Certified Rigger and Signalman qualification.
