Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their event objectives and requirements.
- Plan and coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual requirements, and transportation.
- Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Lead a team of event staff and vendors to execute events seamlessly and professionally.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, health, and safety regulations during events.
- Evaluate the success of events through client feedback and post-event analysis, identifying areas for improvement.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in event management, with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in budget management and contract negotiation. Leadership skills to effectively manage teams and handle high-pressure situations.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in event planning and execution.
