Job Description:
As the Assistant Manager of our Spanish tapas bar and grill, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the establishment. With a passion for hospitality and a commitment to excellence, you will help lead a dynamic team in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist the Restaurant Manager in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
· Oversee daily opening and closing procedures, ensuring that the restaurant is set up for success and meets cleanliness and safety standards.
· Act as a point of contact for staff and guests, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
· Provide warm and welcoming hospitality to guests, ensuring their needs are met and their dining experience exceeds expectations.
· Assist with reservations, seating arrangements, and special requests, demonstrating attentiveness and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
· Handle guest feedback and inquiries with tact and diplomacy, striving to resolve any issues to the guests' satisfaction.
· Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
· Assist in implementing and enforcing standard operating procedures to uphold our standards of excellence.
· Passion for food and beverage with a deep appreciation for Spanish cuisine and culture.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in restaurant management or hospitality, with a focus on guest service and team leadership.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and motivate staff.
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
· Knowledge of Spanish cuisine and beverages is desirable but not required.
· Proficiency in computer applications such as POS systems and Microsoft Office suite.
