Job Description & Requirements
- Greet guest and assist in seating them within the establishment
- Introduction of our menus and products, with recommendations being made of requested
- Assist with service of both food and beverages, from delivery on initial orders to clearing of plates and glassware and refreshing of tables for the next group of guest arrivals.
- Taking and timely serving of orders, including food and beverages to our guests; cross-checking with both guests and back-of-house team to ensure accuracy of orders
- Take & process customers’ orders and generate their bills
- Report to work on time. Keep your personal appearance immaculate, e.g. well-groomed hair, clean uniform etc
- Resolving customer complaints regarding food quality, drinks and service and making sure the business complies with health and food safety regulations
- Provide answers to queries by customers regarding services and offers
- Assist to manage queue and/or reservations
- Support opening & closing of outlets including cleaning and washing soft serve machine, guest washroom, etc
- Ensure that safe distancing measures and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned by the manager
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in the same capacity of work preferred
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Self-motivated and have strong initiative
- Good interpersonal skills and able to interact with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner
- Good communication and people skills, customer service orientation
- Cheerful and attentive to cleanliness and safety
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, yet fun environment
- A team player with a good sense of job responsibility and a keen eye for details
