This position will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, which supports the development and scale-up of chemical processes in developing high fidelity process models and simulations with multi-physics, chemistry and scale effects. The models and simulations will be supporting the development, design, optimization, qualification of both catalytic / noncatalytic chemical processes from laboratory bench scale to pilot scale.

The scope of work includes:

  • Development, customisation and validation of process model and simulation of multi-phase chemical processes in advanced reactor technologies such as a Fluidised bed reactor (FBR)
  • Develop and/or adopt numerical methods for high-fidelity Multiphysics (including chemical effects) and multi-phase fluid flow simulation and models
  • Support lab experimentation and process optimisation using highfidelity multi-physics model
  • Collaborate with affiliated research institutes, institute of higher learnings, industry companies, and other relevant stakeholders
