RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the development, construction, testing, and maintenance of SQL databases and data pipelines
- Participate in data modelling, database design, ETL, and reporting tasks under supervision
- Assist in the creation of database schemas, tables, views, functions, and stored procedures using SQL
- Support in loading data from various sources into databases and data warehouses using SQL and ETL tools
- Contribute to optimizing SQL queries and database performance
- Collaborate with software developers in integrating applications with databases
- Assist in documenting database schemas, ETL processes, and technical specifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or any IT related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data engineering with SQL and relational databases
- Proficiency with SQL (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server) including writing complex queries, joins, aggregations, etc
- Knowledge of database design principles, data modeling and warehousing principles
- Experience in developing schemas, tables, views, functions
- Experience with ETL processes and data pipelines
- Familiarity with database performance tuning and optimization
- Ability to communicate technical specifications to stakeholders
