Position Summary:
As Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor at Jet Aviation you will be working as part of and supervising a dedicated maintenance project team. You will be responsible for successfully carrying out a variety of maintenance tasks on an aircraft in accordance with Jet Aviation procedures and aviation regulations. You will be operating under the Jet Aviation Part 145 approval, the Jet Aviation Health and Safety policy, customer requests and other airworthiness requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervises the execution of maintenance projects in accordance to part 145 requirements to achieve budget, safety, quality and on-time delivery targets.
- Coordinates with internal and external suppliers to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
- Allocates work, establish and monitor individual and team priorities, which are aligned with the company priorities
- Manages manufacturing and/or the MRO operations including, machinery and processing.
- Coordinates with internal and external suppliers to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
- Coordinates with project managers on maintenance project status and manhours.
- Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders on aircraft movement, tools and parts arrival.
- Ensures all Avionics work is performed correctly and safely in compliance with applicable laws, aviation regulations, and applicable GD and Jet Aviation policies.
- Conduct business ethically according to GD Blue Book regulations, and applicable GD and Jet Aviation policies.
Requirements:
- Valid license holder without limitations (Part 66 B2 or FAA A&P or any other relevant aircraft maintenance license (as per local requirements).
- Detailed knowledge of all aircraft systems and maintenance documentation/manuals
- Experience in supervising technical teams
- Demonstrated basic project management knowledge and experience (incl. cost and time control)
- Intermediate level English, min. B2 level/ able to communicate, read and understand maintenance tasks in English manuals.
- Experience in using SAP ERP or equivalent
