Job Responsibilities:
- Idea Generation: Brainstorm and craft creative concepts with the marketing team for visuals that meet brand guidelines and marketing goals on websites, social media, and e-commerce.
- Design Execution: Create impactful visuals across digital ads, social media, websites, newsletters, print, packaging, and promotions, staying true to brand identity.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain visual consistency and develop brand guidelines reflecting company values.
- Layout and Typography: Design layouts and typography that effectively convey messages and enhance aesthetics.
- Photo Editing: Edit photos to align with brand standards and evoke desired emotions.
- Multimedia Design: Create multimedia assets like animations and presentations for engaging storytelling.
- Collaboration: Work with internal and external stakeholders, incorporating feedback and meeting deadlines.
- Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on creative trends and competitive strategies.
- Deadline Management: Juggle multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of design assets.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Minimum a Diploma in Graphic Design/Visual Communications with min. 2 years’ experience in a retail environment preferred.
- Experience in a print and design creative environment is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Adobe (CS, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva, knowledge in any other design software will be an added advantage.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects across different mediums and styles.
- Creative flair with a passion for typography, color theory, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and incorporate feedback.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality in design execution.
- Familiarity with current design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
