Senior Finance Manager (FP&A)

Thomson Medical Pte. Ltd.

Responsible for financial and management reporting including analysis of company's performance, using data to analyse and drive growth with the goal of improving efficiencies and profitability.

Prepare and manage budget, forecast, resource requirements and projects evaluation. Present detailed analysis of business issues and recommended solutions to management.

Drive business processes improvement and assess to strengthen internal controls and processes.


RESPONSIBILITIES

· Prepare and report month end and annual closing financial activities.

· Consolidation of monthly group accounts.

· Ensure the timely distribution of monthly financial package to HQ.

· Review financial performance against historical results, budgets and forecasts, and perform variance analysis. Highlight financial upsides/risks, identify issues/concerns for management's follow up and action.

· Ensure timely and accurate monthly operational statistics are captured, including tracking of the statistics versus budget set.

· Prepare monthly segment reporting files (including support costs breakdown files), and presentation slides of monthly financial results, including analysis of fluctuation, for reporting to management.

· Work closely with finance team to ensure the integrity of the financial data generated to stakeholders.

· Analyse the trends of Key Performance Indicators, especially relating to financial metrics such as sales, expenditures, margins, working capital etc. Monitor KPls and identify the cause of any unexpected variances.

· Interact with HQ and business units on the forecast, actuals, budget and business metrics.

· Prepare the annual financial statements for the group, including group audit schedules.

· Liaise with the external auditors and internal auditors.

· Prepare annual group budgeting files for annual budgeting/strategic planning exercise.

· Prepare financial projections and operating forecast in supporting the management team and the Heads of Department with data-driven analysis to make informed decisions.

· Develop financial models and analyse them to support strategic initiatives.

· Assess the effectiveness of reporting processes and make continual improvements.

· Explore use of business intelligence tool/data analytics tools and dashboard reports to drive efficiency and analysis over revenue and cost processes.

· Participate in system implementation and upgrades, including redesign of workflows and processes based on best practices.

· Support automation and digital initiatives to assist in the objective of maximizing profit and improve productivity.

· Undertake any other duties and projects as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS

· A recognized professional Finance / Accountancy qualification (recognized degree in Finance or Accountancy / ACCA preferred)

· Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience (Experience in consolidation of accounts and full set of accounts preferred)

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint

· Proficient in Accounting System (preferably SAGE 300) (Proficient in using business analytics software preferred)
