Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and budget for interior styling projects.
2. Develop creative concepts and mood boards tailored to clients' preferences and aesthetic sensibilities.
3. Source furniture, accessories, textiles, and decor items that align with the project's design concept and budget.
4. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to procure materials and execute the styling plan efficiently.
5. Arrange and style furniture, artwork, and accessories to enhance the functionality and visual appeal of interior spaces.
6. Provide guidance on color schemes, lighting, and spatial arrangement to create harmonious and inviting environments.
7. Stay updated on emerging design trends, materials, and technologies to offer innovative solutions to clients.
8. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely completion and client satisfaction.
9. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess progress, address any issues, and make necessary adjustments to the styling plan.
10. Communicate regularly with clients to keep them informed about project milestones, updates, and any potential changes.
Requirements:
1. Diploma and above in interior design, interior architecture, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as an interior stylist or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects.
3. Strong creative flair and an eye for detail, color, proportion, and texture.
4. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
6. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
7. Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
8. Flexibility to adapt to evolving client preferences, project requirements, and deadlines.
