Our client is a leading A1 main contractor with over 20 years of history in Singapore. Our client is mainly involved in residential, industrial and special niche projects as a main contractor. It has built up an impressive track record of iconic building projects.
Currently they are looking for a construction manager/site manager for an iconic project with contract value worthy of S$600 million in CBD area. Our client pays AWS and performance bonuses.
about the job
- Manage the whole site operations of the project, including but not limited, managing sub-contractors to deliver the job; cost and contract management and give technical guidance.
- Oversee all trade managers (structural, archi, and M&E) and engineers to make sure the project run smoothly and meet the time, cost and quality requirements.
- Manage various sub-contractors to deliver the works within time and quality.
- Coordinate, program and monitor site work & materials.
- Resolve site issues with sub-contractors.
- Control site material wastage and utilize usage of equipment etc.
- Communicate with consultants to ensure site construction progress and evaluate alternate solutions if any.
skills & experience required
- Min Diploma in Civil engineering or other relevant discipline.
- Preferably, have at least 2 projects fully managed from start to finish as a construction manager or site manager within the local construction sector
- Experience in doing building projects over 300 million as a construction/site manager is needed for this role.
