Job Description
Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the Managing Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Interfood's operations in APAC, including strategic planning, business development, human resources and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, expand market share, and achieve long-term objectives in alignment with the company's vision and values.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to capitalize on emerging trends and maximize revenue potential.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and mentor a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Managing Director, CEO, or senior executive in the food trading or related industry, with a minimum of 15-20 years of leadership experience.
- Deep understanding of international food markets, trends, and supply chain dynamics, with a focus on quality, safety, and sustainability.
- Strong business acumen, financial literacy, and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive results.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, foster a culture of accountability and performance excellence, and inspire innovation and collaboration.
- Strategic vision, resilience, and adaptability to navigate complex challenges and capitalize on opportunities in a dynamic and competitive business environment.
