We are seeking dedicated individuals for the role of special education teachers (one-year renewable contract or permanent positions) who are passionate about teaching and providing support to special needs students.
Job Responsibilities:
- Teach, train and provide support to students in the arts & craft curriculum and personal development aspects.
- Plan and execute day-to-day school programmes to create a structured and enriching learning environment.
- Participate in curriculum planning and development
- Monitor students behaviour through data collection and behaviour analysis for informed interventions.
- Collaborate with multi-professional team and engage parents to ensure holistic education and care for students
- Develop and implement IEP lesson plans, reports, records and documentation
- Maintain comprehensive records and documentation to support ongoing assessment and facilitate effective communication among the educational team, parents, and stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum diploma from the five recognized local polytechnics
- Teaching qualifications or equivalent in Special Education will be an advantage
- Experience in dealing with children and youths with autism will be an advantage
- Pro-active team player
- Good interpersonal skills
- Thrive in fast-paced environment.
