Job Summary
We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Officer to ensure our bank complies with domestic and international financial regulations and policies. This role focuses on understanding financial regulatory requirements and providing strategic direction for their implementation within our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Check bank's compliance with MAS regulations and reports submitted to MAS.
- Conduct research and analysis on financial regulations and policies.
- Develop policies and processes to apply regulatory requirements within the organization.
- Conduct internal education and training on regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with external audits and regulatory agencies.
- Continuously improve and update regulatory compliance processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial regulation or compliance.
- Broad understanding and experience with financial regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate in a team and demonstrate leadership skills.
Preferable
- Direct communication experience with MAS.
- Consulting experience related to the enactment and revision of banking regulations.
