Our client is a leading global leader of semiconductor solutions. They have operations globally across Taiwan, Europe, China, Korea etc. and they’re now on a look out for a Senior/Design Engineer to join their dynamic team during an exciting time in their development.
What you will be here for
- Define requirements and features for semiconductor equipment
- Develop concepts and architecture of new equipment
- Design mechanical systems which involve the selection and use of motors, actuators, gear drives, pumps and valves
- Produce detailed engineering drawings
- Perform design verification and validation testing
- Improve design of legacy machines
- Application of analysis tools like Fish Bone Diagram, FMEA etc
What you will need
- Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
- Min 5 years of experience in automation / high precision machine / semiconductor equipment / High Speed Pick and Place design
- Must process knowledge and experience in the design of automation or semiconductor equipment
- Must process good knowledge for 3D CAD software
- Equipment troubleshooting experience will be a plus
- Ability to produce detailed Mechanical drawings and apply knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
- Able to travel to APAC for job assignment (Taiwan / Malaysia / Vietnam / Thailand)
