RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing novel deep learning assisted algorithm for solving large-scale combinatorial optimization
- Implementing traditional optimization algorithms
- Collecting real-world dataset and testing the above algorithms for benchmarking.
- Writing paper for publication
- Minimum Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from a reputable institution of higher learning
- Minimum one year of relevant research experience in deep learning or operations research
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python is required
- Demonstrated experience and know-how on solving large-scale combinatorial optimization problem
- Experience with at least one programming tools, such as Pytorch or Tensorflow is preferred
- Excellent working knowledge of deep learning or operations research (OR)
- Good analytical, technical and problem solving skills
- Applicants with strong publications in AI or OR area will be advantageous
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members
