- Assess and provide legal advice including matters on commercial dealings and investments.
- Draft, review, and negotiate corporate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess and manage legal risks associated with business activities and initiatives.

This role reports to the Group Head of Legal.
skills and experience required
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Minimally 6 years PQE, preferably with experience in a corporate legal or inhouse legal counsel
- Experience in drafting/reviewing legal contracts and agreements, providing legal advisory
- Legal experience in the financial services sector, especially in the insurance industry is ideal
- Strong understanding of corporate law, commercial contracts, intellectual property law, and regulatory compliance issues.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
