We are looking for a Cyber Security Project Manager on a 12 months contract basis. This is an extendable contract role based on the performance of the candidate and subject to business needs.
Summary:
We are seeking a competent and experienced IT Project Manager to oversee cyber security projects. Knowledge and expereince in cyber security, particularly Security Monitoring Center (SOC). The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project tasks and communication with over 10 subsidiaries and the SOC vendor.
Responsibilities:
- Manage cyber security projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and scope.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and the SOC vendor to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones.
- Oversee project execution, including resource allocation, task assignment, and risk management.
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Address any issues or concerns that arise during project implementation.
- Collaborate with subsidiaries to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Ensure compliance with cyber security standards and regulations.
- Prepare regular status reports and presentations for senior management.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with project team members and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, with knowledge of cyber security concepts.
- Familiarity with Security Monitoring Center (SOC) operations is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
- Prior experience working in the insurance or financial services industry is advantageous.
