Job Description:
Thoughtfull is hiring a Research Lead to drive new innovations and conduct evaluative research, leading to the development of high-impact products and services with science-backed effectiveness. As the Research Lead, your mission is to produces a holistic research strategy and direct its implementation through strategic partnerships and in-house research projects. The expected outcomes of your mission includes but is not limited to the development of a holistic research strategy, the identification and establishment of strategic partnerships, the initiation of external and internal research projects and the publication of research outcomes through journal articles and/or whitepapers.
- What you will do:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive research strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
- Strategic partnerships: Identify strategic partners and establish partnerships that support the goals of the research strategy
- Research execution: Drive the end-to-end implementation of collaborative research projects together with partners and internal stakeholders, which include management of timelines, data transfer and other relevant processes
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other departments, such as Product, Marketing, and Sales, to ensure that research initiatives support company-wide goals. Communicate research findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders at all levels through various means (i.e. peer-reviewed articles, whitepapers,patents etc.)
About you:
- PhD by research, in the field of psychology, mental health, public health, or other similar fields
- Experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Experience in leading a project as a principal investigator, with a track record of research publications in reputed journals
- Proven experience in research and development, with a track record of managing multiple stakeholders to achieve collaborative research goals in a timely manner.
- Have successfully applied for research grants and executed projects based on grant funding.
- Strong leadership skills, communication skills and a proven track record of working with multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
